Located in southern Georgia, Irwin County was created from "Indian" lands and portions of Coffee and Telfair Counties in 1818. This database is an index of federal census records for county residents in 1900. Each entry provides the individual's name, birth date, and age. Other information provided includes relationship to head of household, race, sex, birthplace, parent's birthplaces, and marital status. If the resident was a mother the enumerator included the number of children born to her and the number of those children still living. The page number refers to the original census record.
