About U.S., Revolutionary War Pensioners, 1801-1815, 1818-1872

This database contains Treasury Department pension payment records for payments made semiannually from 1801-1815 and 1818-1871. Entries contain:

  • Name of pensioner
  • Name of veteran (if different than pensioner)
  • Name/location of pension agency though which payment was made

When an heir or legal representative claimed an unpaid balance due the pensioner at the time of death, the date of death of the pensioner is given and the date of the final payment made to the family or heirs.

Additional information such as rank of veteran, amount of monthly or half yearly allowance, and quarter and year of last payment, may also be listed on the record.
